This is the Music page.

Today's date is May 22nd 2007. At the moment my musical activities are divided between two different projects. One of my own making, 'NaKookie'. The Nakookie line up consists of me and my brother, Andrew Charlwood, and some old friends from our old project, SmaART!.

The other band is Mac Theisen. Their website is www.mactheisen.de. It's all in German though, I'm afraid.

Lack of time prevents me from composing my preferred mix of classical and popular music at the moment. Are you a modern music performer and willing to try something new? Something a bit like Michael Nyman and Phillip Glass but 100% David Charlwood? I have written pieces for large and small ensembles, and would be happy to write something for any performer. Please drop me a line.


NaKookie - Update. Nakookie is going through difficult times. Cecil and Helmut have left the band.

David is now planning a solo career.
